About KIABUSE.APP
KIABUSE.APP is a comedy game dressed as a tiny court for the petty arguments of everyday life. Two sides answer comparable questions, the judges put on an impressive display of authority they do not possess, and the app delivers a game percentage plus a deliberately silly ruling.
It is not a real court and it is not trying to be one. KIABUSE makes no factual or legal findings and provides no legal, medical, psychological, employment or professional advice. If a matter is genuinely serious, it belongs somewhere else.
The revision history below is a public summary. Security-related changes are intentionally described without implementation details.
What on earth is the point?
KIABUSE gives harmless disagreements a beginning, a middle and a ridiculous ending. Both people get heard, comparable answers are scored, and the judges add the sort of ceremonial confidence usually reserved for matters considerably more important. The outcome is deliberately funny rather than authoritative.
The public site explains how a case works, provides case examples, introduces the judges, documents how verdicts are calculated, and sets out responsible-use boundaries.
Revision history
v2.31
- Assigned the KIABUSE privacy policy as the canonical WordPress and WooCommerce privacy page.
- Automatically synchronized all localized KIABUSE+ products with the current release copy.
- Corrected stale English product wording so the final review is consistently called the Supreme Court.
- Configured KIABUSE+ for the seller’s confirmed French VAT-exemption regime and added the mandatory Article 293 B wording to legal, product and order records.
v2.30
- Removed the untouched WordPress starter post from public search indexing.
- Removed unused default category and product-category archives from the XML sitemap.
- Safely removed the obsolete Review order page so it cannot appear as duplicate public content.
- Expanded the AdSense pre-submission cleanup without changing the game, checkout or KIABUSE+ access.
v2.29
- Security and reliability improvements.
v2.28
- Security and reliability improvements.
- Confirmed that game logic, translations, checkout, KIABUSE+ entitlement and advertising behaviour are unchanged.
v2.27
- Fixed the Italian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Thai public editorial pages that were rendered from simplified unstyled HTML in v2.26.
- Restored the KIABUSE visual component structure for those four languages: cards, grids, numbered steps, judge/lawyer profile cards, callouts, warnings and action buttons.
- Kept the existing localized text, language routing, SEO metadata, hreflang, canonical URLs and legal-page styling unchanged.
- Normalized localized secondary CTA buttons to the existing kb-button-ghost component so they inherit the intended KIABUSE styling.
- Security and reliability improvements.
v2.26
- Added fully localized public editorial and legal pages for French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese and Thai while preserving English as the source variant.
- Localized navigation, language help, page headings, public footers, legal labels, Refund & Returns links and skip-to-content accessibility text.
- Made public-page, Privacy Policy and KIABUSE+ journey links preserve the selected language instead of silently returning visitors to English.
- Added per-language SEO titles/descriptions, canonical URLs, eight hreflang alternates plus x-default, localized HTML lang values and JSON-LD inLanguage data.
- Kept all public-site localization inside the KIABUSE plugin so WordPress, WooCommerce and parent-theme updates do not overwrite it.
- Security and reliability improvements.
v2.25
- Restored the eight-language selector to the public KIABUSE homepage and editorial navigation.
- The selected language is persisted and explicitly passed into the web app and direct checkout flow.
- Kept the selector visible on mobile and desktop without depending on inline JavaScript.
v2.24
- Added a dedicated Refund & Returns Policy for KIABUSE+ digital access and linked it from the public footer and legal admin page.
- Reuses the WooCommerce draft “Refund and Returns Policy” page when present instead of leaving duplicate sample policy content.
- Clarified statutory withdrawal, digital-conformity, duplicate-charge and discretionary refund handling without treating all digital purchases as automatically non-refundable.
v2.23
- Security and reliability improvements.
- Added continuous lightweight enforcement of WooCommerce Live mode and the official woocommerce_coming_soon_exclude bypass for KIABUSE pages, cart, checkout and customer account.
- Made release migrations repair KIABUSE-managed page shortcodes, slugs, titles and publication status even if a theme or editor previously altered them.
- Added an X-KIABUSE-Version response header on KIABUSE public pages and the web app.
v2.22
- Security and reliability improvements.
- Made the KIABUSE standalone public-page template the last template_include filter and added best-effort purges for common WordPress page caches after release migrations.
v2.21
- Completed a site-wide SEO and image-accessibility audit for the public KIABUSE.APP pages.
- Renamed all built-in judge, lawyer, app-icon and verdict-QR image files with descriptive SEO-friendly filenames.
- Added meaningful alt text to every rendered image, including app avatars, lawyers, court-stage images, mugshots and the verdict QR code.
- Added intrinsic image dimensions plus native lazy loading and async decoding to public judge and lawyer avatars.
- Made public-page SEO titles exact and unique, preventing the WordPress site-name suffix from being appended.
- Added duplicate-safe Open Graph and Twitter metadata, richer WebSite/WebPage/WebApplication structured data, and a sitemap declaration in robots.txt.
- Kept transactional pages and the JavaScript game shell out of search indexing while preserving crawlable editorial pages.
v2.20
- Final AdSense-readiness cleanup: automatically switches WooCommerce Site Visibility from Coming Soon to Live so Terms, Privacy and checkout are not replaced by the store placeholder.
- Safely trashes only the untouched default WordPress Sample Page; edited pages with the same slug are preserved.
- Adds noindex/noarchive rules and sitemap exclusions for Cart, Checkout, My Account and direct-checkout KIABUSE+ product pages; the unused Shop archive redirects to the KIABUSE homepage.
- Retires the obsolete /jouer/ wrapper with a permanent redirect to /app/, and marks the JavaScript app route noindex so search engines focus on the substantive editorial pages.
- Adds WooCommerce Live-mode and Sample-Page checks to the AdSense readiness dashboard.
v2.19
- Changed KIABUSE+ web purchase buttons to go straight to the WooCommerce checkout instead of the product page.
- Automatically places the KIABUSE+ product matching the app language in the cart before checkout.
- Replaces any other KIABUSE+ language variant already in the cart while preserving unrelated cart items.
- Keeps the selected KIABUSE language on the checkout so WooCommerce can use the corresponding installed language pack.
v2.18
- Fixed French appeal and final-review outcome headings that could remain in English while the explanatory text was French.
- French final-review terminology now consistently uses Cour de cassation, while English continues to use Supreme Court.
- Added language-specific translations for the corrected French-source outcome keys across all eight supported languages.
v2.17
- Fixed stale translation overrides that could mix French source text into English and other languages.
- Non-French admin overrides that merely duplicate the French fallback are now ignored in favour of the built-in translation.
- Applied the protection to UI text, questions, causes, sentences, judges, phrase banks and lawyer text, including Appeal and Supreme Court outcomes.
v2.16
- Reworked the “Bins / missed chore” complaint with nine dedicated questions instead of generic household repair questions.
- Fixed hearing order so cause-defining core questions always come first in a logical sequence; only complementary questions rotate.
- Added dedicated bin/chore question translations across all eight supported languages and kept appeal questions fresh from the same cause-specific pool.
v2.15
- Added the production bridge used by the iOS and Android Expo shells so both mobile apps run the same KIABUSE trial engine as the web app.
- Native bridge now supports mugshot capture, verdict-card sharing, saving verdict cards, clipboard copy, speech-name dictation hooks, rewarded-ad callbacks and native KIABUSE+ purchase hooks.
- Mobile share messages now include the actual generated verdict PNG, including locally embedded mugshots when participants supplied them.
v2.14
- Changed every exact 50–50 result into a dismissed case: no convicted party and no humorous sentence.
- Removed appeal access from 50–50 dismissals because there is no losing party or sentence to challenge.
- Updated verdict screens, social-share text, PNG cards and KIABUSE+ history to display CASE DISMISSED / the local-language equivalent instead of assigning an offender.
- If an appeal hearing itself moves an existing case to 50–50, the original conviction is dismissed and all sanctions are removed.
v2.13
- Changed trial logic from category-first to complaint-first case files: each exact complaint now has a strict pool of relevant questions.
- Added dedicated important-date questioning for Valentine’s Day, birthdays and anniversaries, including reasons for forgetting, recurrence, reverse precedents, reminders, importance, attempts to make amends and proportionality of the reaction.
- Added dedicated question sets for the toilet-seat complaint, hidden/unilateral spending and friend-to-friend debts.
- Changed question rotation history to operate per exact complaint, reducing repeats across consecutive trials of the same dispute type.
- Replaced generic category punishments with complaint-specific sentence banks, so a forgotten birthday can lead to a huge cake or a proper birthday do-over rather than unrelated washing-up.
- Appeal hearings now draw their three fresh questions from the same exact complaint file as the original hearing.
v2.12
- Reworded payment and withdrawal sections to describe KIABUSE.APP checkout accurately and avoid a blanket claim about digital-purchase withdrawal rights.
- Security and reliability improvements.
- Added aggregated trial-country statistics, using a trusted host/CDN country hint when available and a browser-locale estimate otherwise, only when audience measurement is permitted.
- Added country percentages to the in-app statistics page and a country breakdown to the WordPress KIABUSE statistics admin page.
v2.11
- Refined public English copy: kept “deterministic” as the correct scoring term, removed cost/explainability language from the AI joke, and fixed the pub/hearsay line.
- Expanded every dispute category from six questions to a larger cause-aware pool of at least ten relevant questions, with rotation that strongly avoids recently used questions and never repeats either of the previous two full question sets.
- Changed appeals into a real second hearing: both parties answer three fresh cause-relevant questions not used in the original hearing.
- Appeal answers can overturn a close ruling, uphold it without an extra penalty, or lead to an increased humorous sanction; final review can still revoke an appeal-only aggravation.
v2.10
- Removed over-cautious “fictional judge / game character” labels from the Meet the Judges page to preserve immersion.
- Simplified the judges page title and profile copy while retaining the single site-wide “just a game / not a real court” notice.
- Kept the scoring disclaimer focused on game mechanics rather than repeating legal caveats inside every character profile.
v2.09
- Audited and rewrote the public English editorial copy in a dry British-humour style while making the entertainment-only nature of KIABUSE unmistakable.
- Added a permanent “JUST A GAME · NOT A REAL COURT” notice across public pages and the app.
- Added “FOR LAUGHS ONLY · NOT A REAL COURT” to shared verdict previews/text so screenshots cannot reasonably be mistaken for real findings.
- Kept Terms and Privacy wording appropriately serious, with a clear notice separating the comedy game from the legal information.
- Refreshed judge, lawyer, examples, scoring and responsible-use copy to emphasise fictional characters, harmless squabbles and zero legal authority.
v2.08
- Reworded the public call-to-action to make it unmistakable that KIABUSE is a game and a mock trial for laughs.
- Added a prominent statement that KIABUSE is not a real court, does not make legal findings, and is not legal advice.
v2.07
- Updated the public “Meet the judges” page to display the actual judge and lawyer avatars used in the app.
- Added distinct profile cards for all seven judges plus Maître Pataquès and the human lawyer.
- Kept the KIABUSE visual identity on the judges page while reusing the existing app character assets.
v2.06
- Replaced the active WordPress theme wrapper on KIABUSE editorial and legal pages with a standalone KIABUSE-owned template, removing the automatic all-pages navigation and duplicate theme page titles.
- Aligned the public site with the exact KIABUSE.APP application palette: red #e53935, orange #ff8a00, green #2e7d6b, violet #7e57c2, cream #fff4e3, ink #161a1f, card #fffdf8 and line #eadbc7.
- Restyled typography, cards, calls to action, legal pages, navigation and footer to visually match the app instead of inheriting the WordPress theme.
- Excluded KIABUSE-generated pages from generic WordPress fallback page lists while keeping KIABUSE’s own curated navigation.
v2.05
- Fixed the v2.04 homepage migration so it runs on the first front-end or administration request after an update, rather than only after revisiting wp-admin.
- Reliably sets the KIABUSE editorial landing page as the WordPress front page and keeps the game at /app/.
- Repairs KIABUSE-managed public pages that were accidentally left unpublished while preserving the expected shortcodes.
v2.04
- Replaced the app-only public homepage with a crawlable editorial landing page while keeping the game at /app/.
- Added original public guides: How it works, Case examples, Meet the judges, How verdicts work and Responsible use.
- Added clear internal navigation, SEO titles/descriptions, canonical links, WebApplication structured data and sitemap-friendly published WordPress pages.
- Added an AdSense readiness dashboard with checks for content, indexing, HTTPS, legal identity, publisher verification and Google-certified CMP status.
- Added safe AdSense ownership verification via google-adsense-account meta tag and automatic /ads.txt generation once a real publisher ID is supplied.
- Prepared the consent workflow for Google requirements without loading advertising JavaScript before approval, and renamed the privacy-choice link to GDPR.
v2.03
- Added a European privacy-consent popup with equally accessible Accept all and Reject non-essential actions.
- Added granular controls for optional audience measurement and advertising while keeping strictly necessary storage always active.
- Added a persistent Privacy choices control so consent can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
- Added privacy-region detection using trusted hosting/CDN country hints when available and a browser timezone fallback without external IP-geolocation calls.
- Loaded the consent interface across the KIABUSE app and ordinary WordPress/WooCommerce front-end pages.
- Gated optional KIABUSE event analytics behind the audience-measurement consent choice and updated the Privacy Policy accordingly.
v2.02
- Security and reliability improvements.
v2.0
- Rebuilt the public revision history to use one normalized English changelog instead of reading internal README files of mixed languages.
- The About page is now consistently English, matching the site’s primary language.
- Future releases update the public revision history by shipping an updated CHANGELOG.en.json file, preventing internal development notes from leaking into the public page.
v1.9
- Added public About, Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy pages.
- Added the KIABUSE.APP Legal Pages administration panel for seller identity, registration, VAT, contact, mediator and retention information.
- Added permanent About, Terms and Privacy links to the in-app About screen.

- Documented mugshot privacy and KIABUSE+ judgment-history data practices.
v1.8
- Added the complaint reason prominently to the shared verdict card so recipients can understand the context of the ruling.
- Added the complaint reason to shared text and improved the visual separation of claimant and defendant labels.
- Localized the complaint block in all eight languages.
v1.7
- Audited and corrected translations across all eight languages, including dynamic judge, objection and in-absentia text.
- Completed Italian and Portuguese dynamic translations and removed mixed-language output.
- Repaired social sharing, Copy verdict + link and PNG card saving with stronger browser fallbacks.
- Added sentence escalation when the convicted party loses an appeal.
- Added a 50% chance for the final review to revoke only the extra sentence imposed on appeal.
- Synchronized KIABUSE+ history with the sentence actually in force.
v1.6
- Cleaned up English court terminology: Court of Appeal for the first review and Supreme Court for the final review.
- Updated English buttons, status messages, statistics, customer history and KIABUSE+ product copy accordingly.
- Kept the internal cassation key only for backward compatibility in code and metrics.
v1.5
- Gave Maître Pataquès and the human lawyer distinct avatars.
- Added claimant and defendant mugshots to the verdict preview and generated social-sharing card when provided.
- Clarified that mugshots are processed locally and are never uploaded or stored by KIABUSE.APP.
- Added private KIABUSE+ judgment history to the WooCommerce customer account, storing judgment metadata only and never mugshots, detailed answers, witness names or objection text.
- Added private judgment history as a KIABUSE+ selling point.
v1.4
- Added fully translated lawyer and defence phrase banks for all eight languages.
